By accessing or using Frank ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service.

3.1 Guest Access

You may use limited features of the Service without creating an account. Guest sessions have reduced message limits and cannot save data across sessions.

3.2 Account Creation

To access full features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your password, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account.

We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in the Service (CVs, career data, conversations). We have a limited license to store and process your content solely to provide the Service.

5.2 AI-Generated Content

Content generated by Frank (tailored CVs, cover letters, career advice) is created based on your inputs. You own the AI-generated content. We do not warrant its accuracy — you are responsible for reviewing all output before use.

7.1 Free Tier

Frank offers a free tier with limited daily usage. Free accounts include access to core features with daily message limits to ensure fair access for all users.

7.2 Frank Pro (Paid Subscription)

Frank Pro is a monthly subscription service providing unlimited access to all features. Subscription details:

7.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your Frank Pro subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@justfrank.chat. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until that date.

7.4 Refunds and Consumer Rights

As a consumer in Iceland, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a new subscription under Act No. 16/2016 on consumer contracts. To exercise this right, contact us within 14 days of subscribing at hello@justfrank.chat or by phone at +354 822 2507.

Note: Because Frank Pro is a digital service that you may begin using immediately, you acknowledge that delivery begins at the time of purchase. Exercising the right of withdrawal after you have begun using the service may affect the refund amount on a pro-rata basis for the portion of service already consumed.

Refunds are processed to the same payment method used at purchase, within 14 days of a confirmed refund request.

For billing disputes, please contact us first. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the Icelandic Consumer Agency (Neytendastofa).

7.5 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, make changes to features, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or opportunities resulting from your use or inability to use the Service.

Frank provides career guidance as an AI tool, not as professional career counseling. All career decisions remain your responsibility.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Iceland.
